Shiny Pokemon

Post by Pokelover99 on Mon Aug 02, 2010 5:44 am

One way I know is only in Diamond, Pearl and Platingum.

If you've got your Pokeradar you can use this methord to track down shiny Pokemon. It takes time so have paitence!

Link Searches------------------------------------------------------------
You might know about link searches when using the radar but if you don't this is what happens;
After using the radar and a patch of grass rusules and the Pokemon appers and then ether beating it or catching it more patches may rusle. The best way to get a long link search is to chose a patch that dosn't rusle quickly first and then after that continue to chose the patches farthest away, these are more likely to be the same Pokemon. (Link searches only work if you encoutor the same Pokemon again and again.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using a Pokeradar to catch a Shiny--------------------------------------
Using the Link Search and the app for your watch (the link search countor) get 40 searches in a row. (Seems almost impossable...)
When you have succsessfully done this you may see a patch of grass that sparkles. That is where a shiny Pokemon is hiding!

Tips:
- Use a replel item to stop any other wild Pokemon appering.
- Make sure your Pokemon is strong enough to K.O. the wild Pokemon in one hit.
- Try in areas where the wild Pokemon are weak and easy to catch.
- Try not to go near the edges of a patch, you might miss something!
- Try in big patches, you have more chance of a link search.

That is baisicly how to do it. Now, theres no garente that every time you do this a shiny will apper, but keep at it and you can find one!

Another way is use an action replay+pokesav .
Use pokesav to generate the code for the shine pokemon you want and than use the action replay to enter it into the game.

If you don't have an action replay than another way is to search the GTS because that is where I found most of my shines.

Other than the Radar I know two ways that are simple, one way is the cheat which (for Platinum) is: 621bfaf0 00000000
02073e44 47004800
02073e48 02000001
e2000000 0000003c
6800480d 490b6840
88011808 9c0d8842
40510c24 20074061
04244041 940d430c
21001c28 f074aa0d
4801fe1b 46c04700
02073e4d 000000e4
021bfaf0 00000000
d2000000 00000000

another way is that you get a pokemon from a diffrent country by GTS and you breed it with an american one, gets a really good chance youll get one

Really? It takes a real genius to find out a code for it, not to be mean though.

The only was to get Shiny Pokemon in HG/SS is by chance.
